Bicycle Advisory Council seeking new members

The City of Austin’s Bicycle Advisory Council is looking for new members.

The council, which advises city staff on bike-related matters, is made up of nine voting members and up to 10 alternate, non-voting members. Three full voting members and five alternates are needed.

Any adult resident of Austin is eligible. Members serve two-year terms.

Applications will be accepted until Aug. 28. Elections will take place Oct. 18 at the regular Bicycle Advisory Council meeting.
